X advertising materials, 8 languages – and a tight schedule!
fine Expression handled the planning, management and implementation of a multilingual translation project for the eastern European market launch of Europe’s leading online freight and vehicle exchange. The initial requirement analysis clearly showed: flexible processes, agile teams and the transfer to final, printable layouts are absolutely essential for this project!

Our solution: a hand-picked team of native language specialist translators, editors and graphic designers – as well as a holistic project management. Responsible for all of this was Bastian Graff, long-time employee and CTO at fine Expression. “The special challenge with this project was in the transfer of all translations into the layout of the communication media, especially the proper depiction of Cyrillic lettering and special characters in InDesign and other tools.”
The translations were done directly in the supplied file format following a briefing and the data delivery by the customer. The triple-check principle and fine Expression’s Translation Memory guarantee perfect translation results, while the creative team guarantees a CI and layout-conforming depiction. This eliminates the need for an additional loop by an external agency – a valuable benefit, particularly when scheduling is tight. The client can directly forward the ready-to-print and completed data to production, saving both time and money. A tailored solution the client is only too happy to use time and again.
